Emily Doucet, Associate Consultant & Program Coordinator

Emily has been with Three Dog Consulting for 8 years and has worked with nonprofits for well over a decade, particularly in the areas of event planning, donor relationship building, volunteer coordination, and media relations. Currently, she coordinates a myriad of programs and services for a nonprofit wellness organization, that is also TDC's largest client.  Her significant expertise also includes program development together with building both internal & external relationships to strengthen program/organizational/funding capacity. Emily earned her BA in Psychology & MA in Counseling at the University of Iowa.  In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering with shelter animals, coordinating a social media platform that publicizes long-term  and special needs shelter animals in an effort to find their forever homes, hiking, yoga & skiing... (and listening to bad 90's music really loud).  Emily lives with her partner Dan, and their dog Agapi and 4 cats in East Syracuse, NY.

Stefanie Heath Reinert, Associate Consultant

For nearly a decade, Stefanie has been a mainstay in the nonprofit community of Central NY.  She brings a broad range of experience in the human services and animal welfare sectors of nonprofit management to Three Dog Consulting and its clients. Passionately devoted to animals, she founded the nonprofit – Cuse Pit Crew, a pit bull rescue and community education organization -after working as the Outreach Coordinator in a rural NY animal shelter. Recognizing the plight of pit bull type dogs, she created this nonprofit organization, which has brought immense awareness to issues surrounding pit bulls together with other animal welfare issues. She is one of the leaders in the implementation of the ground-breaking Onondaga County crime recidivism reduction & animal welfare project, Second Chance Canine Adoption Shelter at Jamesville Correctional facility. Stefanie's role included working with County Legislation members in an effort to financially lobby for the shelter, as well as lead a policy team for shelter/correctional facility operations. Stefanie’s greatest strength lies in her ability to make effective, lasting community connections. As part of her work with Three Dog Consulting, Stefanie provides consulting, facilitation & training to nonprofit organizations where she focuses on topics such as community relations, volunteer management, social media and advocacy.  By day, Stefanie is the NY Food Policy Coordinator for The Humane Society of the United States, where she partners with institutions to help bring healthy & delicious plant-based options to their menus.  Stefanie holds a B.A. in Psychology from Columbia College and an M.S. in Recreation from SUNY Cortland.  She lives in the Syracuse area with her husband, Mike and their 2 young children, who always keeps her on her toes and makes her laugh every day.
